WHAT IS CREATE?
A shared space with room to do things properly.
Create is a bookable studio and event space based inside Islington Mill. It is designed for people who need somewhere practical, welcoming and adaptable without having to force their idea into a fixed format.
The room can shift between focused daytime use and lively evening activity. That can mean a team meeting in the morning, a workshop in the afternoon, a community gathering later on or a public event after dark.

The booking process is designed to keep things clear from the start. You tell us what you need, we review the details, and once everything is agreed your date is confirmed.

Explore
Have a look through the space and think about what you want to use it for, how many people are coming and what kind of setup you need.

Request
Use the booking system to send us the date, time and basic details. At this stage it is a request, not a confirmed booking.

Review
We check availability and the practical requirements of the booking. If we need anything else from you, we will come back before confirming it.

Confirm
Once the details are agreed, the booking is confirmed and locked into the Create calendar.

Create
Turn up, use the room and make it work for what you planned. If your booking is public, the public-facing details can be shared appropriately.

Where is Create?
Create is on the ground floor at Islington Mill in Salford.
Can I use the space for a private booking?
Yes. Private bookings are welcome. If you would like people at Islington Mill to know about your event, let us know and we can help advertise it to the Mill community.
Can I run a public event?
Yes, subject to the booking being suitable for the space and the required event information being in place.
Can the room be set up differently?
Yes. The room is designed to be flexible. Tell us what you need as part of the request so the setup can be considered before confirmation.
When is my booking confirmed?
Your booking is only confirmed once it has been reviewed and you have received confirmation through the booking process.
